As commemorated every year, today marks the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, starting with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and concluding on Human Rights Day on December 10th. "This global campaign serves as a powerful call to action to end violence against women and girls in all its forms, from sexual and physical abuse to other pervasive violations of their rights.", Said Anna Tazita Samuel, the Executive Director.
