Rapid Response Fund (RRF)

Women for Change Implemented a Rapid Response Fund (RRF) dubbed "Provision of Emergency Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Psychosocial Support Services to Returnees from Sudan and Host Community in Fangak County, Jonglei State" project, aimed to address critical GBV issues and enhance psychosocial support for vulnerable populations. Over the reporting period, WFC successfully engaged local authorities and community leaders, conducted awareness-raising sessions, and established Women and Girls' Friendly Spaces (WGFS) in Bap and Tambuom.

The project trained caseworkers and community-based protection networks, facilitated the distribution of dignity kits, and provided essential case management services. Despite challenges such as transportation costs and security concerns, the initiative significantly improved access to GBV response services, empowered community members, and fostered a culture of support and resilience, ultimately benefiting over 60,000 individuals in the region.
