Women Empowered Against Violence (WEAV)

The primary beneficiaries of the project are 750 women and girls, including refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs). Secondary beneficiaries will encompass 965 men and boys, community leaders, and local stakeholders involved in advocacy and awareness efforts. The project seeks to create a ripple effect, where empowered women and supportive men work together to foster a culture of non-violence and respect within their communities. The implementation strategy includes comprehensive training programs for both women and men, focusing on economic empowerment, VAW/G prevention, and advocacy skills. Community engagement will be facilitated through organized forums and media campaigns to raise awareness about women's rights and legal issues. A robust monitoring and evaluation (MEAL) framework will be employed to track progress and adapt strategies as needed, ensuring the project remains responsive to the needs of participants.
